Who We Are
BioTeknic Limited was founded by Nick, with a vision to build a different kind of compliance and technical services business. With a combined 55 years of hands-on experience between the team, BioTeknic brings together deep expertise across life sciences, healthcare and regulated industries.
Nick began his career in the trades as a refrigeration mechanic and electrician before moving into the life sciences world through cryogenics and ULT storage for biological materials. That work became his entry point into a sector he has been committed to ever since. Over time his role expanded into a much broader technical skillset, covering medical devices, laboratory equipment, calibrations, and CQV.
Keith started out as a TV engineer before moving into medical electronics. A career spanning decades that has taken him through UKAS accreditations, setting up a UKAS accredited laboratory, and hands-on work with some of the most specialist equipment in the industry. Keith brings a deep understanding of electronic systems, metrology and regulatory compliance that has been built and refined over forty years in the field.
Why We Started BioTeknic
We started BioTeknic because we believed there was a better way to do this work.
Having spent years working within large corporate organisations, we saw first-hand how the focus on volume and profit margins can come at the expense of the client relationship. Contracts become numbers. Clients become accounts. The people actually doing the work become invisible.
BioTeknic exists to be the alternative. We want a small, focused team of genuinely skilled people working with a fixed set of high-value clients who get our full attention on every job. We are building something deliberately smaller, more personal and more committed.
And when we grow our team, we will treat every hire the way we always wanted to be treated. With respect, trust and a genuine investment in their development.
How We Work
At BioTeknic, every client gets the same level of attention regardless of the size of the job. We communicate directly, document everything properly and take pride in doing the work right the first time. As we grow, those values don't change. They are the reason we started this business.
